Common questions
How do I make a scan printable? Open your scan (or a free demo), tap Print Check, then Make Printable. Sculpt closes holes, removes floating fragments, and verifies the mesh is watertight — then shows a before/after and a pre-flight report.
Can I scan with this iPad? Guided object scanning needs a LiDAR-equipped iPad. On other iPads, import a scan (OBJ, STL, PLY, glTF, USDZ) from any scanner app instead.
Why is my model the wrong size? Sculpt works in real millimeters; the Print size readout in the editor shows the size. Imported files with no units are assumed to be millimeters, and Make Printable checks the part fits your printer's build volume.
Is exporting free? Yes — exporting STL/3MF/OBJ/USDZ/GLB/PLY and basic print-prep are always free. Sculpt Pro Lifetime, a one-time purchase, unlocks unlimited projects, hollowing with drain holes, and the Shapes tools.
How do I restore a purchase? Open the upgrade screen and tap Restore.
I subscribed to Sculpt Pro Yearly earlier. How do I cancel? The yearly plan is no longer offered, but existing subscriptions keep working. Manage or cancel yours anytime in iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions.
